Accessibility Statement
TDiwan is committed to making our websites and games usable by everyone — including people who are blind or have low vision, who are deaf or hard of hearing and use hearing aids or captions, and who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment
Accessibility is a design constraint for us from day one, not a patch applied at the end. We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the international standard referenced by modern accessibility law.
Standards & regulations we align with
- European Accessibility Act (EAA) — Directive (EU) 2019/882, with enforcement obligations for products and services that took effect on 28 June 2025. We build to the harmonised WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549 baseline it references.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — we treat WCAG 2.1 AA as our conformance target for U.S. accessibility expectations.
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust principles that guide our design and engineering.
What we do to get there
- Screen-reader support: semantic HTML, landmarks, and descriptive labels so assistive technology can read every page in order.
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link.
- Readable contrast: text and controls target WCAG AA colour-contrast ratios against our dark theme.
- Deaf & hard-of-hearing: we caption and provide text alternatives for meaningful audio and video, and never rely on sound alone to convey information.
- Motion sensitivity: we honour the reduce motion system setting and avoid content that flashes.
- Responsive & zoom-friendly: layouts reflow and remain usable when text is enlarged and across screen sizes.
Accessibility in our games
Beyond this website, accessibility is part of how we design games: remappable input, clear visual and audio feedback pairs, adjustable difficulty and pacing, and options for players who need them. Because our games are built on adaptive AI systems, meeting players where they are is a core capability, not an add-on.
Feedback & contact
We treat accessibility as ongoing work. If you encounter a barrier on this site or in one of our games — or if you use assistive technology and something does not work as expected — please tell us. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Email: accessibility@tdiwan.com (or hello@tdiwan.com). Please include the page or game, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using.
